When it’s time to remove the pocket, the system goes beyond simply releasing the interference; it also retracts the prongs inward via a set of sliding surfaces, allowing the male and female buckles to disengage smoothly and without resistance. It includes a large handle and an insertion tunnel on the BCD jacket that guide the ballast pocket directly into place, ensuring the male buckle aligns perfectly with the female counterpart.
