The Mini Scandi Folder designed by TOPS and made by Maserin has been a welcome addition to the TOPS lineup for several years now. Because of its popularity and functionality, we’ve decided to add another blade option on what is basically the same handle. This new liner lock MSF has G10 handles instead of Micarta. We also wanted to use a “super steel” –Elmax in this case –that we hadn’t used before for the folks that have been wanting high end steels from TOPS. The pivot screw has a little more flare and the pocket clip has been converted to a deep carry clip. It is still reversible for the lefty’s out there too. The other main difference is that this blade is a clip point with a high flat grind instead of a modified Scandi drop point. Once you get this blade in your pocket and start using it, it is sure to become a main choice for EDC folders.
