The patent-pending FitBar Doorway Pull Up Bar is the latest home fitness innovation from FitBar. This bar has two covered 1.25” diameter bars for performing pull ups, chin ups, leg raises, and other bodyweight exercises. The 38.5” long top bar is long enough for wide grip pull ups, and it spins providing an added grip challenge. All of the FitBar grip training products, including the FitBar Beater Bar, Grip Wheel, and Suspension Straps, are compatible with the FitBar Pull Up Bar. The top bar is the highest on the market, so you don’t have to scrunch up your legs when doing pull ups. This bar has been designed to virtually eliminate damage to the door trim. It is used on an open door, with the pull up bars located opposite the door. The lower pull up bar interfaces the door trim via large plastic triangles that have a white rubber coating, so they won’t leave a mark on white trim, and won’t damage standard door trim. This bar fits in doors 24” to 34” wide, up to .75” thick x 2.75” wide trim, and walls 3.5” to 5.5” thick – please see the pictures and diagrams to ensure the bar will fit in your intended doorway. The pull up bar can be adjusted to facilitate installation in wider walls typically found in older homes and condos. An exciting feature of this Doorway Pull Up Bar is rugged rubber coating on the bars, so you can do pronated grip (overhand grip) and supinated grip (underhand grip) pull ups.
