Ole F. Rolvaag (1876-1931) was a Norwegian-American novelist best-known for his rich stories about the experiences of immigrants, especially Norwegian settlers in the American Midwest. Rolvaag drew upon his own life as an immigrant from Norway who settled on a South Dakota homestead and later became a professor at St. Olaf College. Giants in the Earth (1927) is his most famous novel. This 1929 edition is in very good condition with the original dustjacket in good shape, clean covers and boards, tight binding and clean, unmarked pages. Smoke-free home.
