Made of hickory wood, this handle has been specially designed for use with SIMPLEX splitting axes. The ergonomic and varnished handle was developed to allow for the axes to be used on either side. Hickory is a type of wood with an extra long fiber structure, which contributes to the great stability of the handle. This structure also keeps the handles from ever breaking in two completely and ensures that both pieces remain connected. This prevents injuries caused by hammerheads that have come off. This handle may only be installed into cast steel housing 3011.750! In line with the smart SIMPLEX principle, this handle is also replaceable. This translates to savings in both money and resources.
