Featuring thicker steel side plates than other domestic units, these brakes offer rigidity for upper beam adjustment without tools. Equipped with thrust bearings, the upper leaf adjustment screws allow swift, accurate alignment for varied material thicknesses or radii. Additional adjustments include leveling screws and lock nuts on pedestals, jack screws and tensioner bolts on the apron, truss rods on apron, base, and upper beam, and replaceable nose bar and apron inserts. A removable apron angle and insert enable 1/4-inch reverse bends in lighter material. Precision alignment is ensured with oil-impregnated bearings at pivot points and high-tensile, alloy steel hinge pins. Ductile steel clamp handles, heavy yokes, grease fittings, and an apron stop rod complement the numerous other features of these heavy-duty brakes.
