Since its initial startup, the machine has functioned smoothly with minimal issues. A top-tier reverse osmosis system is engineered to provide superior service by eliminating vast amounts of salt and other contaminants from various water sources like wells, lakes, rivers, and the ocean via a process known as 'reverse osmosis'. This process employs a high-pressure pump that exerts immense pressure on the high saline concentration side of a semi-permeable membrane, counteracting the natural process called 'osmosis'. Naturally, osmosis facilitates the movement of salt through a semi-permeable membrane from a region of low saline concentration to one of high concentration, aiming to equalize the saline concentration on both sides. By utilizing a high-pressure pump, reverse osmosis reverses this process. The pump applies significant pressure to the highly concentrated saline side of the membrane, forcing salty water and other impurities across the membrane, allowing only water molecules to pass through. Salt and impurities are rejected and discarded on the concentrate side. Ultimately, we achieve purified water with 99% less dissolved salts on the permeate side of the membrane.
