From the start of operation, the machine has been functioning correctly with minimal issues. A high-quality system designed to deliver top-tier services by removing substantial amounts of salt and other impurities from wells, lakes, rivers, and oceans via a process known as 'reverse osmosis'. This process employs a high-pressure pump that exerts extreme pressure on the concentrated and highly saline side of a semi-permeable membrane, counteracting a natural process called 'osmosis'. Naturally, osmosis transports salt through a semi-permeable membrane from a region of low saline concentration to one of high concentration, aiming to equalize concentration on both sides. With the use of a high-pressure pump, reverse osmosis redirects osmosis in the opposite direction. The pump applies high pressure to the highly concentrated saline solution side of the membrane, pushing saltwater and other impurities through the membrane, allowing only water molecules to flow. Salt and impurities are rejected and discarded on the concentrate side. Ultimately, we obtain purified water with 99% less dissolved salts on the permeate side of the membrane.
