The Maxwell RSC Instrument handles 1 to 16 samples, while the Maxwell RSC 48 Instrument processes 1 to 48 samples in one run. Both instruments come with pre-set purification procedures and are designed to work with the reagent cartridges in the Maxwell RSC PureWater Kit. This kit, when used with either instrument, reliably extracts Gram-positive bacterial DNA from various water samples. It successfully extracted DNA from 10**4 CFU/ml live _Listeria innocua in 200µl suspensions or 10**3 CFU/ml live _Listeria innocua in 100ml PBS collected on a filter. The Maxwell RSC PureWater Kit seamlessly integrates with our Viability PCR Reagent System for specific detection of live bacteria and pathogens.
