These volumetric flasks are made from borosilicate 3.3 glass and come in a clear or amber color glass option. Amber glass is to protect light-sensitive contents. Capacities range from 5mL to 5,000mL and are supplied with a glass stopper. A volumetric flask is used to determine the precise and exact volume of your solution. Volumetric flasks are more accurate than a graduated measuring cylinder, but can only be used to measure one volume, determined by the graduation ring.
