Use the 45-mm side arms as air vents, inoculation ports, or media inlet/outlet ports, or use side arms to insert probes for pH, dissolved oxygen, or CO2 measurement and control. Flasks are made of borosilicate glass, and include a PTFE and glass impeller assembly. Side arms have PTFE-faced silicone liners. Top (center) cap has two liners: one silicone and one PTFE (to be used together). Entire spin flask unit is autoclavable.
