These are sterile polystyrene petri dishes, 47mm in diameter, designed for culturing microorganisms on membrane filters. They offer convenience with a snug fit to prevent drying during incubation, squared edges, and a raised ridge for easy handling and secure stacking. Some come with an optional 47mm absorbent cellulose pad, 0.85 0.17mm thick, absorbing 1.8-2.2mL liquid. They are sterilized by gamma irradiation.
