The Laboy glass cold finger condenser provides a compact cold surface for sublimation, reflux and cold-trap work. Coolant circulates through the inner tube so vapors condense on the chilled finger and drip back into the flask or sublimation chamber, helping recover product and maintain a steady reflux rate in a short vertical setup. The series is available in several standard-taper joint sizes so you can match the condenser to your existing glassware. Short 100 mm models with 14/20 or 19/22 length below the joint suit microscale or small-scale reactions, while 24/40 versions with 200 mm or 250 mm length below the joint provide more cold surface area for larger flasks. Each condenser has a sealed drip tip at the bottom of the cold finger to guide condensate back into the reaction vessel instead of running down the joint. Fixed-hose models use about 8 mm or 10 mm hose connections that fit common lab tubing, and versions with removable hose barbs let you disconnect or replace coolant lines without twisting the glass body. Laboy cold finger condensers are hand-blown from borosilicate 3.3 glass with thick walls and precision-ground joints. Borosilicate 3.3 gives good thermal shock resistance and chemical durability for routine heating and cooling cycles. Standard-taper joints assemble smoothly with matching Laboy flasks, adapters and Keck clips to build leak-tight apparatus that is easy to rearrange for different experiments. A cold finger condenser is useful whenever you need a cold surface directly above the sample. It can act as a replacement condenser in existing sublimation setups, a compact reflux condenser above a small column or flask, or an extra cold surface ahead of a main condenser to help protect vacuum pumps and solvent traps. Combined with other Laboy jointed glassware, these condensers provide a flexible system for building sublimation, reflux and cold-trap configurations tailored to your work.

  • Compact cold finger condenser that places a chilled surface directly over the sample, improving recovery and control in sublimation, small-scale reflux and cold-trap applications.
  • 100 mm effective length below a 19/22 inner joint, suitable for about 25–250 mL flasks and 19/22 sublimation setups where you need more working volume than a 14/20 system.
  • Two fixed glass hose connections with about 8 mm outside diameter accept ~6 mm I.D. rubber or PVC tubing; standard vertical orientation lets you run coolant bottom-in, top-out for efficient heat transfer.
  • Manufactured from borosilicate 3.3 glass with thick walls, precision-ground 19/22 joint and a sealed drip tip that returns condensate directly to the flask, minimizing product loss on the joint.
  • Compatible with Laboy 19/22 flasks, adapters and other jointed components so you can assemble modular sublimation and reflux apparatus for organic synthesis, teaching and routine lab work.
