A classic vintage diecast model from Corgi Toys "Chipperfields Circus" Major series, originally released in the early 1960s. This model is a Bedford rigid box truck/horse transporter in the iconic red and blue Chipperfields livery.
Type: Bedford Box Van / Horse Transporter (likely an earlier version of Corgi No. 486 or similar, using the Bedford Tractor Unit chassis casting).
Features: Working hinged rear ramp (blue plastic) for loading animals.
This model is in Played-With Vintage Condition. Please examine photos as they form part of the description.
The model is unboxed and is missing original accessories (such as the horses or figures that would have come with a complete set). The small black side mirror on the cab is present, which is often missing.
The wheels & axles are straight and rear ramp is intact.
