The manual IDL-1800-58 Steel Strapping Sealer works with 5/8-inch steel (metal) seals and 5/8-inch steel strapping up to 0.031-inch thickness. The heavy-duty professional tool with double-notched cam-action jaws allows for high-strength sealing action. This metal banding sealer is used to secure the ends of the steel (or metal) strapping with seals. Great for packing the heaviest loads, such as lumber, pallets, metal billets, ingots, building materials, etc. The banding process consists of three stages: feeding the strap around the package, tightening, and sealing its ends.
