The Dormer P809 solid bright carbide rotary burr features oval nose geometry to skip the flute grind and increase center strength. With a lower likelihood of mud congestion and better cutting action closer to the center. It produces double cuts, making it the first choice for general machining. With greater ease of control, a higher metal removal rate, and breaks up burrs into manageable pieces. They have hardened and case-hardened steel shanks that provide rigidity and strength. This prevents bending and reduces vibration to improve tool life. Ground to H6 (carbide) and H7 (steel). Excellent impact resistance that is able to withstand high forces and withstand high temperatures without failing. Special brazing elements provide excellent arm strength.
