- HAND CRAFTED & ENGRAVED IN SCOTLAND – Each slate piece from The Just Slate Company is hand cut and shaped in Kirkcaldy Scotland with all the laser etched designs hand-illustrated in house.
- 100% NATURAL SLATE – Made from high quality, durable slate measuring 5mm thick. Each piece is cut and shaped but left with the natural resulting edge, not ground smooth. The face of the slate is also natural and not ground smooth. A foam backing is applied to protect surfaces.
- FOOD SAFE – All engraved slate pieces, and any non-engraved pieces which may be used to present food, are coated with a food-safe, water based acrylic coating.
- EASY CLEAN AND CARE – Clean using a water-based spray cleaner and soft, lint free cloth. Do not immerse in water. Do not wash in dishwasher.
