Alessi MP0215 1 Salt, Pepper and Spice Grinder, Beech Wood

Alessi MP0215 1 - Expanding the collection of "domestic totems" created by Ettore Sottsass, this grinder designed by the author in 1989 returns to the Alessi catalog, with all the contemporaneity of his unmistakable style. To the original version are added new colors: a turned, lively, and sculptural object that fully expresses Sottsass's poetics. A fascinating domestic totem to use and leave on display on the table or a kitchen shelf as a small sculpture. The different colors in which the grinder is offered recall the author's historical palette and are juxtaposed with the light and bright beech wood. Simply remove the rotor inserted by pressure on the body and pour salt, pepper, or the desired spice into the small slot. Close by repositioning the rotor in its seat. The body shape allows for a comfortable and secure grip. The ceramic grinder ensures full versatility, making it suitable for grinding even hard ingredients like salt crystals. Two fins at the base of the grinder allow you to adjust the grinding degree. Clean the outer surface with a damp cloth or wood cleaner, drying immediately. Avoid washing by immersion, under water, and in the dishwasher or using abrasive cleaners that could damage the product's surface finish.
