Handmade Paring Knife - Custom Made In USA Kitchen Knife / Dual Edge Kitchen Knife with Sheath This custom handmade knife is painstakingly hand-forged in my personal shop. 30 hours of craftsmanship went into this blade. Perfect for Every Day Cooking/Food Prep work. This double edged paring knife will no doubt become your favorite go-to blade for every task. So sharp you can shave with it. Blade has been painstakingly shaped and profiled to create two perfectly sharp cutting edges to make fast work of any kitchen duty. Knife has been hardened and tempered to allow for a super durable edge. The hardwood in the handle is reclaimed, and hand sanded with 2500 grit sandpaper, stained with burnt umber wood stain, and sealed with high gloss, high hardness resin, making a permanently waterproof finish. The 4 handle pins are peened and made of 1/8" solid brass rod. These too have been polished to a mirror finish. Made from Handforged 1095 Hi-Carbon Steel Razor sharp edges are sharp enough to shave with, and tough enough to withstand heavy use. Hardwood handle made of super tough, tight grained, dense reclaimed Walnut wood. Full Tang Knife with 1/8" tang pins, peened. Blade was normalized then tempered at 400°F for 2 - 2 hour sessions. Handle is sealed with high gloss clear resin, to ensure a watertight, long life finish. Blade Measures: 3 1/2 inches long 3/4 inches wide .10 inches thick Handle Measures: 3 1/2 inches long 1 inch wide 0.75 inches thick Full Knife Measures: 7 inches long
