Direct Fire Boil Kettle(BK) Conversion Kit- Thread Hose Barb StyleThe brew kettle/pot in the picture is virtual and only shows how to use it. You need to buy a brew kettle/pot separately.The boil kettle is what you would transfer wort into after the mash.After the Mash/Lauter Tun(MLT) is used to mash the grain the hot water, the grains are sparged with water and resulting malt sugar solution is pumped to the Boil Kettle where it is boiled with hops for seasoning.In this boil kettle, we use the fire as the heat source.In this conversion kit, it include the follwoing three parts:1. Whirlpool Port.After the boilis complete, we recommend doing a whirlpool which creates a hop cone in the center of the kettle, leaveing clear wort to drain. Whirlpool is created by taking wort from the drain and pumping back through pickup tube in whirlpool port, cycling the wort in funnel within kettle.2. Drain Port.Our unique pickup tube to drain wort off kettle bottom.3.
