Combo Kit for Aftermarket Radio Installation in Factory Radio Location. Radio Kit, Radio Wire Harness, and Antenna Adapter. Use to add an aftermarket radio to the factory vehicle wiring. Standard wire coloring usually will connect color for color to aftermarket radio's wire harness. Black color radio kit. Designed specifically for the installation of Single or Double-DIN radios. High-grade ABS plastic . Contoured textured and painted to compliment factory dash. Some radios will require the inside of the radio kit to be sanded/filed to make the opening a little bigger- that's normal stuff especially if the radio is an off-brand since they sometimes don't design their radios by standard Din specs. Important Compatibility Notes: Will require you to run a separate 12 volt ignition power wire to new radio since that wire will not be available on the factory harness. This harness only works with regular factory audio systems- Not compatible premium amplified systems- if the factory audio system is the external amplified type like Infinity, Bose, Boston Acoustics, etc then this harness is not compatible. Will not retain warning chimes. Will not retain some features that go through the radio like warning chimes, OnStar, rear dvd, steering audio controls, etc.- other adapters are needed for retention.
