- SIZE & COMPATIBILITY – 1000 mL, 24/40 JOINTS 1000 mL capacity suitable for medium-scale reactions and solvent volumes. Both 24/40 joints are fully interchangeable with standard 24/40 condensers, adapters, thermometer joints, addition funnels and other jointed glassware used in organic chemistry labs.
- VERSATILE LAB USES Designed for heating, reactions and distillations. The center neck typically connects to a distillation head, reflux condenser or three-way adapter, while the angled side neck provides an extra port for a thermometer adapter, gas inlet, inert gas line or addition funnel in multi-step or stirred reactions.
- MATERIAL & WORKMANSHIP – HEAVY-WALL BOROSILICATE 3.3 Hand-blown from heavy-wall borosilicate 3.3 glass and annealed at high temperature to relieve internal stress. Thick, durable walls offer excellent resistance to thermal shock, chemical attack and mechanical stress, allowing direct flame heating and repeated heating–cooling cycles.
