Very beautiful vintage Japanese porcelain cat, appears to be hand-painted. Excellent condition! This is a gorgeous piece. Created Mid-Century in Japan, the artist has signed his name on the underside of the cat. This is such a charming piece, a beautiful work of art. Cat Figurine collectors, Porcelain Collectors, etc would be thrilled to have this piece. The cat is in excellent condition. There is some crazing on the cat, which I can’t see with my naked eye, but it is a natural part of the aging of this type of porcelain…many vintage buyers prefer some crazing, as they think it adds to the beauty of vintage and antiques. Would also make a beautiful gift!
