This is an original early 1900s Planters Peanuts counter jar from a country store with the lid. It has Mr. Peanut or Planters around the various six sides with an inside rim chip on the lid and measures 7in high without the side (10in high with lid) x 7in wide.
Made in the USA on the bottom; in great condition considering the age; yellow paint is still vibrant; glass you can see in the photo has age/scratches. This is a great gift for someone w/a bar or rustic decor; to fill with cookies or wine corks in your kitchen or if you have a store or pharmacy filling with product. Or fill with soil and grow succulents - a fun idea! From my Grandmother's collection - sad to part with this very old, unique piece, but getting ready for retirement!
