These vintage limited edition collection of collectible plates are called The Sun-Bonnet Babies which feature characters created by Bertha Corbett. The plates were made in Germany by Royal Bayreuth in 1974. Each plate shows the Sun-Bonnet Babies performing a specific task for each day of the week: Sunday "Fishing, Monday"Washing, Tuesday "Ironing", Wednesday "Mending", Thursday "Scrubbing, Friday "Sweeping", Saturday"Baking".
The plates are each numbered 8125. The plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks noted. The only blemish noted is on the back of the Friday plate which has some dried adhesive from a small circle hanger that used to be there. Please see last picture.
These plates come from a home smoke free home and a home with cats.
