Beautiful Rare Vintage Pair of
Blue "Delft " - 835 Silver Earrings, 1950's Windmill Plaques can be found and dated through the Verwoerd Online Museum windmill series.
The Verwoerd Ceramics Studio produced the hand painted plaques, Tiny but precise stamping are found on the closed loops. 835 sits on an elaborate sword. The cannetille work in particular is very fine. The Closure is by screw down earring backs.
The back of the plaques are signed Delft. These plaques were Handpainted by Cornelus Verwoerd himself
