John Harberger was a prominent hat designer from the 1940s to the 1970s, known for his work in Hollywood and on Broadway. Probably the most famous designs are those made for Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind.
This super chic hat features a diamond pattern netting with cream drop beads and an inner band. It is constructed with a structured brim and is intended to sit askew on the top of the head. The inside features a large "Mr. John Jr." label with "Union Made in the USA 742244".
The hat is in very good vintage condition with very little wear. The hat is slightly misshapen from storage, but a steamer and some patience could help reshape it if you desire to do so. It still sits nicely on the head as is.
The hat measures approximately 6.5"W interior diameter, 8"W exterior diameter, and 5"H. This is a hard hat to measure, but it is made to fit a smaller head. If you need further measurements, please message me.
