Well faceted 307.20 ct. certified natural yellow topaz, round cut. Stone is about 98% eye clean, and about 98% Loupe clean; there is some feathering noticed at 30X magnification, around the edges; this can’t be seen by the naked eye. Stone is birefringent, and has been enhanced with heat for clarity. Stone dimensions: 42.6mm X 42.6mm X 27mm
While possibly too large for jewelry, it can also be used as a decorative piece or paperweight.
Why So Cheap?
Will this gemstone end up in the Crown Jewels? No. Would they be used in products from Van Cleef and Arpel, Cartier, or Tiffany? Also probably no.
