• ADVANCED MODEL-ROCKET-BUILDING KIT: The Pro Series II Der Big Red Max Rocket Kit offers serious rocketeer enthusiasts ages 18+ a hands-on experience in creating one of the most iconic model rockets. This kit includes a sturdy body tube, detailed scale fins, a molded nose cone, a recovery parachute, and decals. It requires Estes rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, a launch pad system, and 6 high-quality 1.5-volt C alkaline batteries (sold separately).
• SOARS UP TO 1,100 FT.: With our Der Big Red Max model rocket expect up to 3.5 seconds of roaring smoke and fire as this beast climbs skyward. It can reach a projected altitude of 1,100 ft. (335 m) using a F15-4 Estes rocket engine (sold separately). It is compatible with a E16-4 rocket engine.
• READY TO ASSEMBLE: Rocket building inspires creativity and a passion for science and outer space! Our advanced-level rocket kit comes ready to build and requires approximately 3+ hours of assembly time (glue drying time not included). Builders can apply decals for a custom look and pair it with the Estes Porta-Pad E Launch Pad with 1/4-Inch launch rod (sold separately) for an authentic aerospace experience.
