Electric Ladyland” is the 3rd and final studio album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968. It’s a double album that marked Hendrix’s full creative control as producer, featuring groundbreaking psychedelic rock, blues, and experimental tracks like “Voodoo Child” “Burning of the Midnight Lamp,” and a cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower”
Hendrix despised the cover and had no input on it. He envisioned something whimsical and innocent: a colorful collage photo by Linda Eastman (later Linda McCartney)
