Antique Nippon 12" Handpainted Purple Flower Vase with hexagon tower form. Google indicates this flower is a purple columbine. The vase is a tower shape, 6-sided, and a matte finish. Flowers are purple with white and yellow centers. Background is soft golden greens. Rim has a ribbon of moriage and gold top. The base has two rows of moriage in small and medium dots. Ceramic is white porcelain. Nippon stamp is blue. Dated between 1891-1911. No chips or cracks or crazing. Some gold on rim and base has rubbed off. I have shown backstamp at 1/4th inch to ensure backstamp authenticity, pictured. Beautiful piece I enjoyed displaying. Top measurements 2.75" in diameter. Base measures about 5.25". Vase weighs 1.11 pounds.
