Huge Heavy Vintage Handmade Ethnic Solid Sterling Silver Rajasthani Indian Ganesha Shiva Talisman Necklace
Repoussé, Hand etched & engraved from Rajasthan India, this necklace features Bhairav a fierce manifestation of Shiva, the dog, the protector from all types of adversaries. The 6 individual squares represent Hanuman, the monkey God, a symbol of loyalty.
Necklace features all handmade beads, rosettes, cones, dangling balls & pendants. String on a think heavy sterling silver chain. Closure has been replaced to a newer style clasp.
All components are handcrafted (minus the replacement clasp) & have tested positive for sterling silver 925
Necklace measures 17.25” in length
Center pendant measures 3” in length and is 2.25” wide
Center pendant has a small hole on the center reverse, inside the pendant is most likely a thin slice of wood, as is commonly found in these pendants. The hole is then placed there purposefully.
