This is a beautiful wounded bird vintage 40's - 50's By Mindelle Adopted from Jeanne Lanvin in Nylonette by American Silk Mills Taupe Pink Sequin, Beaded Halter Neck Gown. This dress construction is sound and sturdy the issues it has are missing sequin and beads, some dangling sequin and beads, staining on the hem and a couple of holes. See pictures for more details. Although wounded this dress is in good vintage condition. None that take away from the beauty of the dress. The sequin and beading design was a popular design apparently for this adaptation. I have found a few other styles that had this same design in sequins.
The bodice is Sheer Woven taupe pink chiffon, a pleated bust area and halter top. The design of gold sequins with metal beading goes all around the waist and down the front and back of the dress. It has a metal side zipper and ho
