This tall vase features a beautiful geisha holding umbrella in a nostalgic and romantic scene on light blue background color. This reminds me of the famous mountain in Japan named Fuji where peach flower blossoms and falls in the wind like dancing. The crane recalls me the Japanese Folktale story “Tsuru no Ongaeshi” in which a crane returns a favor to a man or Tsuru Nyōbō (鶴女房, "Crane Wife") where a man marries the crane that returns the favor to him.
