This exquisite 1929 Dr. JC Mardrus & Mathers translation (1930 printing) by Dingwall-Rock Ltd. is in exceptional condition. There are 8 volumes in this complete set. Each is a rich, deep purple (almost black) embossed pattern canvas and embossed title, numeral, and publisher branding on the spine. Some volumes are uncut and thus unread. They have been kept in traditional shelving in our smoke-free home, which is also temperature and humidity controlled.
Minor wear on binding brings a light purple color instead of the rich and deep of the remainder.
