Very rare find. It was my grandfathers. These go for up to $2,300 (see last two photos). A little dust and shine, it will look gorgeous. Even the more expensive ones have some wear on the base. Even if you want to buy it to flip it for more money, it’s a hell of a deal.
This figural Harlequin lamp was made by The Marbro Lamp Company of Los Angeles, in the 1950s. The figure is styled on the famous bronze sculpture by Rene de Paul de St Marceaux, in 1879. The figure measures about 37 inches high, weight is about 40 lbs. It is made of plaster like casting stone and painted in life-like colors.
