A pair of antique Lemaire Paris opera glasses with a raised Mother-of-Pearl decoration against a light blue enamel, c. 1880-1910. This color in this model is rare as I have researched these glasses. I have found one that is close but is not the same decor. The glasses are in excellent condition, including the focal looking glass. There is a small dent on the handle (shown in photo). There is some wear on the eye pieces with the words "Lemaire" and "Paris" inscribed. The focus wheel and the two eye pieces are made of Mother-of-Pearl and the brass adjustment arms and hardware have an authentic patina to their look.
