Do not crush or deform the top of the cover, as this may alter the operating temperature or affect other performance characteristics. 4. Do not allow liquids to seep into the thermostat! The housing must be protected from excessive force to prevent cracking; the housing should be kept clean and free from conductive contaminants to prevent short-circuit breakdown due to reduced insulation performance. 5. Do not bend the wiring terminals during use, as this will affect the reliability of the electrical connection.
