Vintage 1956 DeForest California jam jar and matching leaf platter, hand painted and signed on the base: “DeForest Calif. ‘56 C”. Features the classic anthropomorphic DeForest face with rosy cheeks and surprise expression, topped with a yellow hat lid marked “Jam.”
The tray measures approx. 11.5" x 11.5" and is shaped like a stylized leaf, finished in soft mid-century browns and cream tones. The jar sits perfectly in the center recess.
