This listing is for a third edition book of THE EMERALD CITY OF OZ, published by Reilly & Lee in 1929. It features gorgeous color illustrations by John R. Neill. This is the 6th book out of 14 in the children's fantasy book series, The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.
This copy is bound in green cloth however it appears that it was mended and the binding strip and book are not exactly the same color. It is a readable copy, pages are firmly bound, covers are anchored. There are 12 color plates.
Internal pages show the usual yellowing with minimal rips, chips, or folded edges. I am sure some book dealers, which I am not one, would classify this book in poor condition but it has held up in readable shape for 94 years so I think it's doing pretty good.
There is also some writing in pencil on the front endpapers.
