Antique Hand-Carved Wooden Trout Fish Decoy – Original Paint – Folk Art

This charming antique trout decoy is hand-carved from solid wood and painted in realistic tones of yellow, green, and black, complete with detailed fins and dark spotting along the body. Measuring approximately 7 inches long, the decoy has a wonderful patina and wear consistent with age, showcasing the authentic surface and character collectors value in early folk art.
The decoy features metal fins and a small loop at the nose, typical of ice-fishing decoys used throughout the early to mid-20th century in the Great Lakes region.
