Gemini, a young Ginger dragon, is the odd one out in his family. He’s given rules to follow that don’t apply to his siblings, and, when he breaks a rule, his mother punishes him. He fights back in defense, nearly killing her. His father exiles him from the nest, forcing him to fend for himself for the first time.Not long after leaving the nest, Gemini crosses a witch, is cursed to live as a human, and in his wandering gets enslaved by guards from a kingdom notorious for their cruelty toward males.Three years later, their queen, irritated by him, sells him to a neighboring kingdom where he’s trapped in a different form of service: kinghood.
