  • Vintage: 1940's - 1950's (estimated)
  • Details:  An unbelievable find!  This vintage Goose Bay Labrador pennant is a RARE find.  It has a magnificent scene of Canadian Geese flying above the water in a V formation.  These are becoming very popular for decorating cabins, family rooms, children's rooms, as well as dorm rooms, etc.  This is a great addition to a pennant souvenir collection.  Perfect for someone who was stationed at the Goose Bay military base, a duck hunter, a Canadian geese admirer or Canada history collector.  Great piece of memorabilia.
  • Material:  Wool
  • Dimensions:  22.0 inches Long, (not including tassels/streamers). 6.5 inches Wide
  • Condition: Vintage - Used.  Very Good Condition considering its age.  Color has fading slightly, some very minor cracking on the screen printed letters and design.  The tassels are wrinkled, can probably be ironed flat.  All issues acceptable due to age/use/wear.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

Goose Bay, in the town of Labrador, Canada, was named for the birds stopping in the area on their migration route.  The town is actually called Happy Valley-Goose Bay, there's a military base there known as Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Goose Bay. "Goose Bay" refers to both the town and the military facility.  The base is small, used as a low-level tactical training facility.
