On offer is this superb Chinese Art Deco Export Hand Carved Red Cinnabar Silver Gilt Filigree Brooch Pin featuring a beautifully carved floral motif with a C clasp with a safety latch that opens and closes tightly. This large Cinnabar Brooch is carved in high relief with a flower motif that glows with a glorious aged patina attesting to it's authenticity. This is a large brooch as these antique Cinnabar brooches are usually smaller than this one. Hallmarked China on the back. In excellent condition with no damage or repairs but there is silver gilt loss as conducive to it's age. All photo's taken in daylight. Measuring 2.25 inches in width x 1.25 inches high. The mount is brass that has been silver gilded. A must for your brooch collection.
