Overview: Up for sale is an incredible impressionist oil painting on thick board depicting the view of the island of Capri from Mergellina, a small fishing village in Naples, Italy. Looks to be a well-executed antique tourist piece. Painting is signed Frida Caponegro and dated '27 at lower right. On back, there is some writing in German, identifying te painting as a gift for Uncle Jal and Aunt Gretel, setting forth the title and the date painted. Unframed.
Condition: Painting is in good condition for age. Moderate toning/mat burn from prior framing. Toning should be less notable once framed.
