Welcome to my delightful Estate find, an Oneida Queen Bess II Community Tudor Plate silverplated flatware service for 8 in a handmade antique silverware box. This was one of the first silverware patterns to be manufactured after WWII! American factories had been retooled to produce military goods and support the war effort and only returned to making luxury consumer goods in 1946 when this Silverware was produced!
8 of each: solid dinner knives, dinner forks, salad forks, round soup spoons, teaspoons, plus Serving: 9" spoon, 9" fork, pie server, butter, and sugar.
The vintage wooden box is handmade,, with fuscia hot pink felt. Pieces have patina, I prefer it but please check my pictures, I have done my best to show the integrity of each piece but they are 80 years old. I have other Queen Bess sets, glad to take more photos and answer all questions.
