It has a pickup mounted inside to capture your sound and transfer it to the Personal Studio Beltpack. Typically, practice mutes add tons of resistance, making you feel like you’re playing into a pool noodle. The designers at Yamaha built the Pickup Mute from the ground up to lessen resistance.
