The silver wings have a frosted stripe on each wing. I did polish this one up a bit - I wanted to make sure it could polish up after all this time. It measures 1 3/4" long nose to butt and the same wide. Sitting on the table it's 1" tall. It is of course the only piece I have. I hope you have enjoyed viewing this one.
From my own collection - I purchased this piece from a friend who owned the mine in Poland. Her and her brother were the only dealers I dealt with for 10 years. Late 80's. In the early 90's synthetic amber started creeping into the market from many sources. I never bought amber from anyone else past the mid 90's. This piece is a large piece. It weighs 14 grams. There is one larger bug on one side and a small bug on the other. The amber is gorgeous and clear with the exception of the bugs.
