Mid-century modern, MCM. Estimated to be completed around 1950, USA, depicting Revolutionary War period in 1700s USA, Colonial Williamsburg. Limited edition of only 100 serigraphs of each. Original numbering within edition is on the back of each piece. These are vintage serigraphs, each depicting architectural landscape scenery in Williamsburg from the 1700s. Each print is framed with an original wooden frame without glass. Please note the age of the pieces, which shows some defects here & there, such as ripped or faded paper backing or the wooden painted frames showing some age, but adding character.
The color scheme is a unique palette of oranges, browns, greens, & black.
Mark Coomer, born in Bay City Michigan in 1914 and passed away in 2004. His water colors have been hung at the American Water Colour Society shows.
