4 signed Ned Foltz red ware pottery plates ‘82, ‘83.

Rare set of 4 in great condition. Some scratches to bottom which is very normal for vintage red ware. Set includes horse, cow, sheep, and chicken. Will be packaged very secure. These are heavy so the shipping wi reflect that. I will make every effort to keep shipping costs down but my main concern is getting these pieces to you safely.

You won’t find another set at this price.

This charming 1982/3 plates with horse, cow, sheep, and chicken silhouettes were created by Ned Foltz, famed potter from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the style of German and Pennsylvania Dutch.

The plates measure 7-3/8 inches in diameter with a rise of 1-1/4 inches from a flat surface. The edges are fluted and sponge-decorated. Incised on the back of the plate is: C.N. Foltz. Reinholds, PA, 1982/83, with an apparent + sign. The pottery mark is also seen on the back.
